have just arrived home from my whacked-out week in vegas and was greeted with very sad news...the passing of don knotts...one of the first movies i ever got to see at the movie theatre was the apple dumpling gang and i remember laughing my ass off...not to mention the hours of andy griffith reruns that i occupied my time with and, of course, his acting piece de resistance...mr. furley...sniff sniff
